Duplication Is It Really Possible?

By:

Most business opportunities today make great play about duplication. All you need to do is this and that and then duplicate across your team. So let's consider what can and can't be duplicated.

Duplication is also key for call centre staff.
Now I mention call centres as my day job improving the performance of sales functions in call centres. An attempt is made to duplicate the things the top people do with the lower performers. So can this be achieved?

Yes for some elements and no to others.

Even with training, coaching and a call script it is not possible to replicate the performance of the best advisor.

Sure it is possible to give all advisors similar opportunities but even selling something as simple as car insurance the range of sales conversion by advisor is massive. Moving the worst advisors out of sales can narrow the gap on performance but this is not usually available for work at home roles. It is also possible to increase performance by automating assuming the automation does not impact results. It is not possible to get the advisor always to give the best presentation of the product but with automation it is possible to give a consistent presentation.

Based on the findings how best to improve the model for any home based business. Consider a simple task model for business success.

Find interested people who may be buyers excluding friends and family,
Cover off the product and rewards available to interested parties,
Supply any additional information they may request,
Make sure the lead buys, wants to wait or disqualifies themselves and begin once more with the next lead.

Some of the actions lend themselves to duplication and automation and these are the ones we will know review. As discussed earlier for duplication to work easily there is a need for a system based approach.

What is needed to make a system work well?

A step by step guide as to how to carry out an effective advertising campaign. Different types of ads and different cost options to cater for all comers.

Automatic presentation of the product and the earning potential as well as work that individual will need to do. For a good business a high value product that sells and easy to follow instructions make everything easier. Finding a product in the system that has retailed previously even without the opportunity is a major selling point.

With a good system additional questions are quickly answered to keep the lead warm.

With a system that answers all the questions you can avoid getting involved with the many tyre kickers out there.

With a proper system you are not wasting your time and you can get on with feeding more people into the system.

These are the criteria I worked out and spent time looking around to find the right system for me. At last I have completed the journey and am now spending my time enjoying the results.
