Dubai is located on the Arabian Peninsula, towards the south of the Persian Gulf, and it is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates. It is a city possessing a very significant geographical location that is financially advantageous even though its economy was built on the oil industry. It is sunny on most days in this city and it possesses many modern and ancient attractions. Named as the Middle Easts shopping capital, Dubai draws a massive number of tourist shoppers from almost every corner of the world. It is also known as the City of Gold in view of the fact that it has many gold jewellery vendors which will quench the thirst of any gold lover.

Following the huge success of the previous year, Dubai will be hosting its Annual Latin Festival for the second time from 3rd to 5th of February 2011 at Madinat Jumeirah Souk, featuring local and international Latin music artistes, traditional folkloric dance, original Latin American cuisine and many exciting activities for children as well. Its an excellent opportunity to learn some samba and salsa moves while grooving to the rhythms of many world famous musicians and bands. Basically it is a celebration of the prosperous Latin culture.

A series of Fiesta nights will take place each evening from 9:00pm at numerous extravagant venues throughout the festival. To add more colour to the event, a taste of South American cuisine, crafts and arts stalls will be presented. More than 10,000 visitors are expected to join this event, which is known as the largest Latin American festival in Dubai. There will be modern Latin and traditional entertainment at Madinat Jumeirah Amphitheatre Plazas outdoor stages.

Stalls of home-made food, drinks and clothes will be set up on both sides of the Madinat Jumeirah Amphitheatre Plaza to serve your needs. But you can always check in to a Dubai hotel for more lavish facilities. In the last year, it seemed that many visitors preference was to stay at a luxury hotel Dubai like Raffles Dubai, UAE. For all those who love to immerse themselves in vivacious Latin rhythms, traditional dances and South American culture, this is an event not to be missed.
