The main tourist and busiest months in Dubai are the winter season from November to March when the weather is warm and sunny but much bearable than during the hotter months. The winter temperatures tend to average 23 degrees Celsius while the nights drop slightly lower.

It is recommended that you visit Dubai during the winter months as you can really appreciate and enjoy the country without becoming to overcome with the heat. For families the winter is ideal, but if you want warmer temperatures then visit in the early or late winter months when you can be assured of fantastic weather, ideal for lazing around on the beach and enjoying the sea.

In the summer months of June to September when the sun is at its strongest, temperatures can reach up to the mid-40 degrees Celsius along the coastline with the sea breezes but climb higher the further inland you go. Those who love the sea will be pleased to know that the sea during the summer can reach into the high 30 degree Celsius.

If visiting during these hot summer months, remember to take good care to cover yourself up during the hours when the heat can become unbearable. Avoid heatstroke and sunburn by using a high factor sun cream, wear a hot and drink plenty of water. It is also advisable not to sit out in during the hottest hours of the day.

Maybe surprising, or not so surprising, the summer months in Dubai are the off peak season as many tourists from the West find the heat far too unbearable and prefer to travel during the more pleasant months when they can still enjoy the warm days and evenings. As a result, holidays to Dubai in these hot months are much cheaper than in the more popular months.

However, as many tourist visit during Dubai"s winter, it is worth knowing that in February and March much of the country"s weather falls. On average, Dubai has just over five inches of rainfall per year, compared to 80 inches in the UK.

A sub-tropical climate means you can be promised great weather in Dubai. With its year round climate of warm days and pleasant evenings, you can be assured that whenever you visit Dubai you will be treated to fantastic weather no matter if it"s the winter of summer months.
