Dressing To Overweight Man - How To Hide The Curves

Some curves are attractive. On most men curves are not attractive. Attractive curves are usually in the realm of the voluptuous female who has all the right curves in all the right places. Men are supposed to be more rigid, more well-defined. Definition does not come from soft curves, it comes from harsh lines. You can see this in the cartoon characters of men. Men are frequently drawn as cartoon characters that are shaped with squared features.

The most popular cartoons currently all exhibit this property. "Sponge Boy Square Pants" even has "square" in his name. The creators are using a juxtaposition of the "softness" of a sponge with the maleness of being "square." This character is male however because he is wearing square pants. In "American Dad" the main character has the "squared jaw" that is a typical symbol of maleness. In "Family Guy" the one that expresses the squareness of the male character is Joe Swanson, even he is relegated to a wheel chair, he is still a cop, and he is very square in the male arena. The lead male character in "Family Guy" Peter Griffin is much softer and even he had the shape of testicles drawn on his chin, he is not a manly guy at all, mostly because he has curves in all the wrong places.

To be more masculine it is important to wear clothes that diminish your curves if you have them. Better yet is to go to the gym and do your best to get rid of any curves. Curves are not the sign of manliness. The worst example of this is "man-boobs." Those are definitely curves that are on the wrong gender and in the wrong place. If you have them you need to work out fiercely to get rid of them or consider having them surgically removed. There is no place for "man-boobs" in a man's world. Men are supposedly fixated on boobs but don't think you can find happiness looking in the mirror at your "man-boobs" - they are just not the same.

The truth is that any curves are bad for men and they need to be eliminated with prejudice. Curves are what men want to focus on, as long as the curves are not located on themselves. Woman, for better or worse, have the monopoly on curves so that is where all the best curves are to be found. For example, there is no circumstance where guys look great with a big fat butt. However; in the eyes of some beholders a female with a big fat butt is attractive.

It all comes down to curves being for women and squares being for men. It is not easy being a square because that means you cannot also be cool. Cool guys know how to throw a curve, handle a sharp curve, and how to keep curves in the proper perspective. That is why the yellow sign says "Slow. Curves ahead." It is a warning to every guy to watch out for those curves.
