You can have a lot of fun selecting gloves that look good and feel good when you put them on. In the winter you should definitely wear gloves. Another part of dressing for colder weather is that you get to wear winter coats. These can be very stylish, made from mohair, fleece or wool, lined lambskin and leather, or utilitarian and sporty, like parkas, or for heavy cold weather like down jackets.

A long winter coat that goes down past the knees is a better choice than a parka for use in business settings or when you need to look properly dressed. Parkas and the like are great for shoveling snow or having a snow ball fight with the kids, but don't really have a place as business wear. Make sure if you buy a long winter coat that you buy one that is oversized for you, especially if you try it on during summer when all the winter coats are on sale.
