Preparations from Interview Point of View
Carry the portfolio (educational certificates, experience letters etc.) along. Carry hard copy of latest resume too
Carry the copy of the e-mail, if you have received saying you are called for the interview on so and so date and timings. The name of the concerned person whom you are supposed to meet is also generally mentioned in it

Presentation from personality point of view
Presentation is an important aspect now- a-days, as the first impression matters a lot.
Office is not the place to wear fashionable casual outfits.

Tips for Men Regarding Dressing
Select two piece suit (preferred colors: black, grey) and long sleeved shirts of light color shades (preferred color shades: white, light cream, light peach)
That doesnt mean that you have to spend money and keep your wardrobe ready with many such types of formal dresses. You can purchase variety of shirts that matches the trousers or you buy variety of ties, of course that should give formal look.
Go for simple, polished and traditional shoes than fashionable shoes. Avoid open sandals
Nails should be trimmed and clean. Comb your hair neatly
Do not put a lot of stuff in the pockets of your shirt or trousers. They should not look bulgy
Do not use strong perfumes
Never smoke before the interview. Same thing applies with chewing gums and tobacco based eatables

Tips for Women Regarding Dressing
Use formal light color shirt and trousers. You can wear formal jacket on shirt and slacks. Do not wear free flowing dresses
Wear formal footwear. Do not use colorful shoes
Do not carry small purse and a folder, instead carry a briefcase that would look official
Do not put on heavy make up and a bright colored nail paint
Do not wear too much accessories such as long and bold earrings, neckpieces, bracelets etc.
