Thailand lies in the heart of Southeast Asia surrounded by the legendary Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Made up of a number of islands that are celebrated tourist destinations, the country is renowned for its liberal servings of hospitality and distinctive cuisine. Thailand is also home to one of Asias most vibrant cities: Bangkok.
In Pathum Thani province, near the border of Bangkok, in an area known for its old parks offering you a glimpse into the local cultural heritage, you will find one of the most famous amusement parks in Thailand: Dream World Fun Park. Although buses are available to this venue, visitors to the city will find that taxi is the most convenient way to get there.
The park is segregated into 4 themes, namely, Dream World Plaza, Dream Garden, Fantasyland and Adventureland. First up is Dream World Plaza teeming with fantasy themed places to shop and other buildings. Dream Garden also has some fabulous rides and is perfect for relaxation with a massive lake- a cable car system provides you with a chance to take in the serene view of dream gardens from above. Wandering over to Fantasyland we stumble upon a fairyland that is home to Sleeping Beauty, still slumbering in her castle. While you are there in Fantasyland you can even make a visit to the Giants House and marvel at the gargantuan furniture fit for a giant. Next up is Adventureland, made up of thrilling rides like the Viking Ship, Space Train, Hurricane and Snow Town-be amazed at snow in the heart of Thailand where the temperatures are below freezing. Usually on weekends you can catch the Colours of the World Parade where cartoon characters will march in a procession. The parks main attraction however is Asias first ever hanging rollercoaster.
