Almost everyone including many business owners and internet marketing professionals are in constant search for the fastest and easiest way to increase page rank. This is indeed a requirement of Internet marketing so that you can make more and more people see your page. Just to make it clear to all who may not know about page ranking, it is a number assigned by Google according to their secret algorithm which decides how high a page is placed in the search results. You may please understand that what it actually comes to ranking in search results, the page rank number is not the only thing that affects a rank.

In order to see the page rank of a particular web page you must either use a web browser that can display page rank data or go to a site where you can enter the url of a page and get it's page rank. The problem is that the number you see is always out of date and reflects the last time the public display of the page rank algorithm was updated. There can be a lag of many months since the last update. So in truth the page rank as used by Google is not accurately reflected in the numbers you can see in many cases.

Google ranks its pages in search results and the single most visible aspect we have to understand how this ranking is done is the page rank. One needs to remember; I have mentioned Google ranks pages, not sites. Each page is to be considered individually, while choosing sites to look up search results, but to some extent, there seems to be a link between the page rank and the reputation of the site itself. The links the site gives and the page ranks of those will affect the page rank of a page to some extent.

Increasing your page rank quickly isn't all that difficult. However, you do need to understand what most people consider to be the basis of page rank. In many ways, page rank is an internet popularity contest. It is generally thought to rely on the number of links to your page and the popularity of those pages. Generally, the more pages that link to your site, the better it is thought to be. The higher the rank of the page that links to you, the better the influence that page will have on your page's rank.

To increase your page rank rapidly, you will have to get as much quality content-related links to your page as possible. It's a simple as that.
