Dr Ronald Sollitto, (NJ) is an experienced, board certified surgeon of the foot, ankle and lower leg. Presently, he is the Administrator and CEO of Saddle Brook Surgicenter, Inc. in Saddle Brook, N.J. This state licensed facility was established in 1993 for the performance of outpatient surgery. Dr.
Ronald Sollitto has always given priority to providing timely solutions to maintain patients health. For his excellent achievements in the field of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, he has received various professional awards. He earned the First Place Award for Best Scientific Paper Submitted to the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society in 1984, an Award of Achievement from Kennedy Memorial Hospital in 1985, and the First Place Award for the Best Article Published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery in 1990. He was selected to be an examiner for the board certification exam of his specialty, and served in this role for ten years. In 1980 he designed a new surgical instrument, and was granted a United States Patent.
Dr.
Ronald Sollitto (NJ) earned his BA from the University of Notre Dame in 1972. He was on the Deans List, earned three varsity monograms, and became an NCAA All-American (fencing) as well as Indiana State Sabre Champion. His medical education includes a DPM, (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) 1977; MD, (Doctor of Medicine) 1999 and MPH, (Master of Public Health) 2010. He was the Class President at NYCPM, UHSA and Columbia, Yearbook Editor-in-Chief at NYCPM and was selected for Whos Who Among Students of American Universities and Colleges and Whos Who Among Outstanding Americans. He is a member of both the National and New Jersey State Ambulatory Surgery Associations, having built and owned one of the first such facilities in New Jersey. For twenty years he has been a vocal advocate of the valuable role played by ambulatory surgery centers in healthcare delivery.
Ronald Sollitto, DPM, MD, MPH is a member of several organizations. He is a full member of the Columbia University Club and the Cornell University Club of New York since 2008. He is a Senior Active Member since 1981 at Tiro A Segno, Inc. (NY). He is also a full member of the Monogram Club of the University of Notre Dame, which limits membership to former varsity athletes only. He donates to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, the Metropolitan Opera, Immaculate Heart Academy and many other charitable organizations.
