Dozens Of Wordpress Plugins And How I Use Them Part 1

By:

Wordpress is more and more popular, many people use it to build their websites in the world. Although wordpress is very good, if we add some powerful plugins, it'll be even more powerful, and your work will be a lot easier. Plugins are composed of php scripts that add additional function to your blog. They offer new additions to your blog that either enhance features that were already available or add new features which is unavailable before to your site. Now let's take a look at the most used plugins, hope it helpful to you.

Akismet
Included with your WordPress installation, Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not and lets you review the spam it catches under your blog's
"Comments" admin screen. Use it on all my blogs.
Amaniche
LOVE this plugin. Adds Amazon products and reviews to your blog in the blink of an eye.
Bad Behavior
Bad Behavior is a PHP-based solution for blocking link spam and robots.
Breadcrumb Navigation XT
Generates locational breadcrumb trails for your WordPress blog. You don't need this if you're running StudioPress or Thesis as it's built into those themes.
Broken Link Checker
Exactly as the name suggests. LOVE this plugin. Placed on all my blogs - works especially well when I actually use it.
Contact Form 7
Manages multiple, customizable contact forms. I use this one on My website: www.free-themes-complete.com.
Deactivate Visual Editor
For use with Exex-PHP to ensure that you don't break your php code. Using is heavily on AffiliateBlogger.
Easy Adsense
Don't use it much anymore, but a good plugin that makes Adsense installation easy for beginners. You can see where I've posted Adsense on Roamsters using this plugin. Simple to use. Just upload, activate, click the Adsense button where you want your code to appear.
Exec pHp
Use it to execute PHP code in posts, pages and text widgets. See also 'Deactive Visual Editor' plugin.
Faq Tastic
VERY nice plugin. Can generate multiple FAQs. I use it here.
Featured Content Gallery
Use it in conjunction with all my StudioPress themes - on almost all my sites.
Google Analyticator
Enables Google Analytics logging on any WordPress blog without template modification. Stats show up in your Dashboard as in the screenshot below (and then some).
MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer
Eliminates unecessary and too frequent pings. Helps avoid being labelled a 'ping' spammer.
Conclusion
I have introduced so many plugins, you may not need to use all of them. You can install them locally and have a test. If you like them, you can use them on your site.
Enough for today, I will describe the remaining most used plugins in my next article, pay attention to it. If you have any questions, visit my website http://www.free-themes-complete.com, leave me a message, I'll reply at the first time.
Good Luck and God Bless.
