Douglas Coore Is Bruce Lively

Armed with a wealth of musical talent and an ear for stellar production, engineering and recording, Douglas Coore, aka Bruce Lively is breaking into the music scene with an innovative brand of alternative rock. While writing, performing, and recording every piece of his music solo, Lively is turning into a true one man show, creating a wall of sound which defies the listener's ears. With a handful of brand new singles and a full length debut album slated for a June release, this Kingston, Jamaica native is preparing to take the music scene by storm.

After living in Chicago, then relocating to Atlanta, Lively compiled a diverse array of musical influences which shaped the sound he currently produces today. Drawing comparisons to major acts such as Foo Fighters, Muse, Deftones, Silver Sun Pickups, and Radiohead, this one man show has become increasingly inventive and creative since his pen first hit a pad of paper. While he's more than comfortable residing in the alternative rock category, the music transcends traditional borders and boundaries, allowing him to appeal to many types of fans from coast to coast.

While compiling and arsenal of material, Lively also founded Opinium Records in 2003, which boasts an impressive roster of fresh, determined talent from the Atlanta area and beyond. He also has continued to perfect his craft of engineering, producing, recording professional albums while owning and operating his own music studio in Atlanta. Throughout the past decade, Lively has proved himself to be a true musical chameleon, serving as a songwriter, producer, and label executive all at the same time.

In anticipation of his first full length album, Sad Clown Cyndrome, Lively has released the first single, "Let Me Down," on iTunes. Fans can check out a number of new tracks, including "Let Me Down" on his ReverbNation and MySpace pages, where the songs are available to stream free of charge. His YouTube page is also buzzing with excitement, as it's currently populated by an assortment of videos which give listeners an exclusive peek into the world of Bruce Lively.

Sad Clown Cyndrome will be hitting digital retailers this June, and exclusive recordings from the recording sessions are available now on the Opinium Records website. Lively will be scheduling some local appearances for fans in the Atlanta metro area, as well as an upcoming Eurpoean tour set to kick off early next year. With digital radio stations such as Jango beginning to brim with positive feedback, and his record label continuing to blossom, Lively is on his way to becoming a nationwide success.
