When you have a car that no longer runs, or in an extremely poor condition, you can still make some money for such clunkers if you donate it to a charity. Yes, by donating it to charity, you receive a tax deduction at the end of the year. Most charity will make a pickup for damaged or even wrecked cars in any condition. And yes, it is at no cost for you at all. That is a real nice convenience on your part right?

The most essential factor is you have to call the charity over the phone and ask if they take vehicles which are not in good running condition. There are some organizations that only take vehicles in good running condition, so do get in touch with the charity of your choice first and inquire. Some of the charity also have a page on their website wherein you can ask concerns about how to donate your car.

From there, the donation procedure is usually the same. If they do take an automobile whether it runs or not, they'd probably are going to provide you with a contact number, an email address to get in touch or a website that tells exactly where to submit your donation info.
