Does Your Baby Hold The Key To Your Best Body Ever?

By:

One of the greatest worries experienced by the female of the human species is how on earth they can get their body back to its former glory after having a baby.

It's a justified concern because the average mother finds herself on slippery slope from curvaceous attractive female to never getting out of the habit of wearing baggy clothes to hide what's underneath!

Not only this but due to the physiological changes during pregnancy, combined with the rigours of today's hectic, but desk-bound lifestyle, many of us become about as flexible as a lamppost. This element applies to the men as well so don't switch off yet guys!

Whilst this article doesn't address the how to get that stunning body back it seeks to make you realise that young children in fact provide many of the answers to that burning question...

How do I get my body back to being lean and fully functional?

Following the birth of his second child, I was discussing young children with one of my personal training clients. It became clear that these two innocent, young children provided many clues to the solutions which many fitness / fat loss enthusiasts seek

Firstly, the average new born will launch into a bout of shouting and screaming with alarmingly regularity because they want food - specifically the breast milk of their mother. This generally occurs every 2-3 hours.

They want protein from a natural, healthy source every 2-3 hours. It is a physiological requirement for the human body to ingest natural proteins every 2-3 hours. The children have not been influenced by a bodybuilding magazine or been told to eat protein by their personal trainer but they are reacting to a need.

As a personal trainer one of the biggest battles is getting clients to eat small meals, 5-6 times per day each of which must include lean protein. These clients have forgotten that they themselves used to go through that process as a small child when they had not been corrupted by social influences, 9-5 timetables and a mother who then changed them into a habit of eating 3 square meals per day.

The second part of this discussion centred around movement.

Many clients think we're nuts when we tell them they must learn to squat so their bums almost touch their heels.

That's not possible

Well it is, because every 2 year old can do it.

Why?

Because their bodies haven't been abused by sitting on their backsides at desks all day. They stand up, climb, sit on their heels to rest then carry on with their simple lives!

I don't deny we all grow up and the rigours of human life take their toll, but every one has the ability and the physiological need to do anything and reverse these processes.

The question is whether you want to re-train yourself so your body can function again just like it did a few years back (or a lot of years back?) No matter how old you are, improvements can be made to improve not only your training but also your quality of life.

Your decision entirely.

The final point on what young children know about healthy living is to do with sleep. They are not concerned about catching the end of Big Brother or staying up until midnight to watch a scary movie. They fall asleep nice and early when they should, then they wake up early when day breaks.

In terms of fat loss this is another really important factor so that you can utilize your hormones patterns better and ensure you are getting enough quality, deep sleep to enable you body to recover from Storm Force Fitness training sessions. The end result will be a lean, stronger, energetic body!

It's amazing what you realise about life when you take a step back and look at those who know best and act on instinct. Those who know more than you or your friends. Those who will kick up enough of a fuss until they got what they want / need.

Ladies and gentleman I give you..

..the toddler.
