Most people just figure that their driver should know all the streets in the city, but this can be very difficult in a large center, especially if the driver is new to the company. However, the installation of GPS units in many cars has greatly helped alleviate any problems of drivers not knowing the best routes to take to their customers required destinations, so if you get into a car with a GPS unit you should only have to tell the driver your destination without worrying about directions.

The most important thing to have with you is the correct street address of where you are headed. Just knowing roughly where you are headed can cause confusion, because if the driver has to place the destination into the GPS or talk to dispatch about how to reach their destination, this can cause them to receive incorrect directions, but if you have the exact street address this is much less likely to happen.
