Do You Trade Lame Excuses For Success in Your MLM Business?

My Mom would be the first to tell you that as a kid I had an excuse for EVERYTHING! Nothing was ever my fault and unfortunately I carried that habit with me to adulthood. (Not that I really consider myself an adult- overgrown kid at best!) But back to my bad habit...

When something didn't get done or I had trouble with it, I always had an excuse. There was always something in my way that kept me from getting the results I wanted. Some outside force that caused my issue.

Boy was I wrong!

The only thing getting in my way was me. And I was doing a really good job of it.
But the other day after reading a book about Winning Habits I realized what I was doing...

I was trading in my success and desired results for excuses.

When I looked back at the challenges that I thought were holding me back I found that if I had worked a little harder or looked for alternatives, I would have gotten it done.
So no more! I came up with a really simple 2 step solution to this problem.

Here is how you can overcome any challenges, fears, or excuses in your MLM business and get the results you really want...

First take a few minutes and think really hard about your WHY. Why are you doing this business? Now take that why and break it down into the smaller pieces that make up the big picture. What your car will be, what vacations you will take, your dream kitchen, the special classes, lessons or even school that your kids can go to, what your family does together, etc. Now write those things down.

Second, write down the excuses, fears and challenges that you need to overcome.
Take one of those challenges and write it down on one side of a card or piece of paper. Then write down what you are "cashing it in for" - one of your desired results.
Keep the cards close by and everytime you think about that challenge, fear or excuse, grab the card, turn it over and tell yourself that you've traded it in for your new car, or dream vacation.

You can't use it anymore and you are on to bigger and better things.

By doing this, you force yourself to look at your excuses and also set goals to drool for.
This little trick is just the thing you need to use to get you past those lame ass excuses you make for all the things you feel you can't do or don't feel like doing.
