Do You Suffer From Being Lost In Doubt

By:

There's this important thing called courage. It's the mindset for taking action. This one little word can separate you from the masses. Courage: You probably have it because that's why you are reading this article. But do you understand it? Do you understand the three words that make up the word courage? When you know the three words that make up the word courage you will know the secret to why you have courage and why others don't. And you know what; you'll also know how to instill courage in others.

So what are the three words that make up the word courage? And when you discover what these three words are you'll know why you have courage and how to keep it all the time. Here are the three words. The first word is -

Commitment - Commitment to be the best you can be. The second word is -

Doubt - Every time you commit to something you are going to have doubts. It's what happens between commitment and the third word -

Action - You need to act on your commitments! You need to act. You really need to act if you are going to achieve your vision, your goals.

Courage is about the commitment to be the best you can be. After commitment the first thing that pops up is doubt. You question whether or not you can do it. The difference between you and the people who don't take action has a lot to do with how you process doubt. Because you acted - see - there are many others who see what you see but they become stuck in doubt.

So courage is not the absence of doubt. It's the mastery over doubt.

Courage is the mastery over doubt. And the difference in how you process doubt separates you from many others.

You are both committed to be the best you could be. The next thing that happens is doubt. You doubt whether or not you can do something or learn something or is that something going to be useful. Whether or not you need to read that book, go to that conference, to show up for whatever, or to take on that next project or task.

The doubts always surface up. The difference between you and them is how you process doubt. You moved into action right away. If you knew what moved you into action - BOOM - then you'd be able to act all the time. Then you wouldn't stay in doubt. Now what do you think it was that moved you into action?

When you ar committed to be the best tha you can be. And you know you'll get some value from doing something. But what surfaced was doubt; the difference between you and others is how you process doubt. But what did you do to move you into action.

This is really simple and basic. But when you get this - and my friends - you'll always be able to instil courage in your life. Always.

Courage: Courage: courage - that's where the rubber meets the road.

With courage you can experience life and what life offers. Lots of experiences; and from those experiences we become more educated; we make wiser choices; better decisions.

So what did you do here in doubt that moved you into action while others are stuck here in doubt? You moved through it. You did one thing here that the others didn't do. You started out with a commitment to be the best you can be. The next thing that surfaced was doubt. You process doubt and the way you get out of doubt and into action is that you went right back to commitment and reminded yourself that you were not going to sell yourself short on your vision and that you were going to follow through with your commitment be the best you can be. The others were just stuck in their doubt.

You now know how to instill courage in others. Because every time they get stuck in doubt and do not take action, you know why.

So this is how you instil courage in other people. Because every single time when they start to give you excuses why they are not acting on their commitment to be the best that they can be, you tell them exactly where they are. You tell them that they are stuck in doubt and the only thing that is stopping them from achieving their vision is the lack of courage to act on it. And you'll tell them that right to their face - with love and respect and compassion and empathy. But you never have sympathy for them not acting on their commitment to be the best that they can be. You tell them to look at their commitment and to move through doubt and to follow up on their commitment to their vision by taking action.

I think that makes a lot of sense.

Taking action towards your goals: your vision - to follow through on your commitment: that's what courage is all about.

So I acknowledge you all for having a vision and the courage to act on that vision. And if you take your courage and build your vision then I promise you. One year from now, two years from now, three years from now, it will be there for you and others will follow you. You will blaze the path for others.
