If we are to line up and rank all the mental disorders known to man, at least, one in the top three would be panic attack. This is how feared panic attack is. Survey has it that more than four million Americans suffer from this disorder. It is so heart breaking to hear such a number suffer for so much but that is what is real. We cannot escape it and w cannot even run away from it. Living a life with panic attack for those who suffer is considered half life. They do not live half as what is expected to.

Books about mental disorder define panic attack as a "period of intense fear and discomfort." From its definition we can tell that it is no ordinary mental disorder. "Intense fear" is something not common as compared to just plain fear.

Fear alone is a common sensation. We feel it in everyday we live. It happens when we walk on the street or drink coffee in a restaurant. Intense fear on the other hand is another story. As what is mentioned above, we can say that it is one thing to fear, and it is another thing to fear intensely.

Now that we know the nature of panic attack, we can then proceed to the symptoms of it. A panic attack symptom is a long list in a book's page. We need to know these symptoms to be sure that we do not have panic attack. But if we see that some symptoms are present, then we must act on it immediately. This is the wisdom behind knowing what a sure panic attack symptom is. This article would state three very sure panic attack symptoms.

First panic attack symptom is the "racing heart". Let us imagine our heartbeat as the speed of a car. The normal heartbeat would be an ordinary family car. A "racing heart" beat would be a F50 Ferrari. If you are under a panic attack, it could even be a formula car.

The second panic attack symptom which is very common is the shortness of breath or others call it difficulty in breathing. If you are asthmatic then you have a very good idea what it means. This is either like gasping for air because there is too few of it, or like your air passage is tied into a knot that air cannot pass through easily. Again, just like any other symptom, this would occur without reason.

The last symptom (only in this article because there are still a lot in the list) which is very common with panic attack is trembling with sweating. This trembling mind you is not just ordinary trembling but they are uncontrolled trembling. The sweating is like the normal sweating but what is wrong about it is the fact that there is really no reason to sweat at all. You just sweat because of a fear that is only contained in your head.

These are the sure panic attack symptoms. These are the most common. It is important to asses yourself whether you show these symptoms or not.
