Do You Really Want Him Back?

Are you sure that you want to win your guy back after a breakup? It can be hard to know exactly how you feel in the days following the breakdown of your relationship. You're probably feeling isolated and a bit embarrassed, and these feelings can often be confused with true love for your ex. So right now its critical to take a step back and evaluate the relationship you had with your boyfriend, and why it ultimately failed.

If the reason is that long term you are not companionable then do yourself a favor and move onto the next guy. You and your ex deserve to be happy, but this does not mean it will be as a couple.

However if you are sincerely wanting to try and work things out here are a few tips:

1) Do not chase him down and become a stalker trying to encourage him to come back to you. He's not going to enjoy it, and will quickly lose respect for you thinking you could be crazy, and was a good idea to break it off with you. You need to impel a confident image even if your insides seem like melting butter.

2) Pay attention to how you look. Most of us do but be aware of your appearance.. As a sharp respected women once said, there is no such thing as an ugly woman, only lazy ones. Now is not the time to let yourself go. Get your hair styled, always wear make up, and wear the clothes that show your body in the best light. Don't overly adjust your image. He fell in love with you not someone he wont recognize.

3) You need to put your finger on what it was that made the relationship come to an end. Did you conduct yourself badly? If you did, then you need to apologize and do it properly. Men have feelings too even though they commonly manage to hide them better than women.

4) Are you a game player? I don't know what it is about women but for some reason women at times look at a relationships as fun manipulative chess moves. If I do this, he will do that approach isn't always the best tactic, and believe it or not men actually do not like being manipulated.

Honesty is always the best policy. If you have been playing games as you were trying to see if your feelings were returned, then just ask him straight out. Nearly all men like the direct line of attack - they are not very good at reading signs and subtle hints.

When its all done make sure you know all reasons why the break up occurred. Yes being attracted to someone is important, but this is not what's going to make the relationship last. Mutual respect, appreciation, and values go a long way to avoiding a final break with your boyfriend.
