Do You Really Need A Wedding Venue

By:

Deciding to get married is full of excitement, but so many questions. How many people to invite, what type of dress to choose, what should the Groom wear, suit or tails?. Who will do the flowers, how big should the cake be?. The list is endless, but in my experience, place all these worries and thoughts behind you for the moment and concentrate on the venue. The venue will dictate and naturally answer most of your questions. The start point will be the area that you decide on, say Suffolk. Then a little bit of research to find a venue, witle these down and then decide. The venue now will dictate the amount of people, this then answers the sixe of the cake and its a matter of pairing the flowers to the venue, a florist will help with this, now go and choose your dress.

Many times, the venue will determine the date of the wedding based on the availability of the location. It can also determine the number of guests a couple wants to invite, since each location will have a maximum number of people it can accommodate. The refreshments that will be offered and the decorations that will be used can be affected by the wedding venue. The location is so important that it can even influence whether the ceremony will be civil or religious or the choice of wedding dress. When considering wedding venues, couples should not only look at the physical installations. There are many other things to consider particularly what the couple will be responsible for, including rentals, catering, and even clean-up after the celebration. These extras can certainly add up in the expense department so the budgeting will be affected.

The choices available for wedding venues are quite extensive. Traditional venues include grand country estates, stately clubs, art galleries, museums, sports centres, hotels and libraries. But for those seeking a more unique experience, submarines, barns, bridges, botanical gardens or even airports have served as venues. There are also the destination weddings at vacation locales, such as beach hotels. Some couples choose to have a more intimate affair and decide to hold their wedding reception at home or at a relative's home. Of course, choosing the ideal location for a dream wedding will also depend on the budget the couple has for the celebration.

The more movie-like settings such as old castles and grand country estates might seem too expensive at first glance, but the couple needs to learn what will be included in a wedding package. A home wedding will seem the most inexpensive at first, but the couple has to remember that they will be responsible for everything, from renting furniture and hiring a wedding caterer to dealing with the parking situation and then the clean-up after the celebration. Because the details can add up and become stressful, couples should consider using the services of a wedding planner.

Though it might seem extravagant to hire a wedding planner, an experienced one can save the couple money, time, and stress. She can also work to make the couple's dream wedding a reality, by taking care of all the details and making suggestions that will work better with the planning. Even if the couple chooses a wedding venue that includes many of the major items in their wedding package, a wedding planner can take care of all the extras, making the experience a more enjoyable one for everyone involved
