Do You Prefer Choice Or Price?

By:

Do you enjoy having a lot of channels to choose from on your TV service? Many people like choice, but more importantly, people want to get the channels that they watch the most all in the same package.

Another thing that people care about is the price. This is especially true in the economy that we live in today. No matter whether you have Dish TV, DirectTV, Comcast or some other service, you should be able to strike some kind of deal with them right about now.

Summer is right around the corner and people spend more time outside in the sun playing and less time watching TV. That means that the industry as a whole is more willing to negotiate the pricing in order to keep you as a customer rather than lose you permanently.

The TV industry as a whole is in the middle of revolutionizing the whole experience of Television as we know it. For example, you can know purchase TV's with 3D capability. You can also buy some that allow you to interact your computer with the TV. More and more people are getting their entertainment and news from internet and less from traditional media. Because of this, the media as we knew it has to adjust or get left behind.

They are attempting to do this by allowing access on your traditional television set to media that you typically view on your computer. They are finding more and more ways to interact the two in order to stay relevant with the ever changing medium by which we access the information and entertainment that we want when we want it.

How many hours do you spend on the computer today compared to how much you spent on the computer ten years ago? How much time of that computer time that you spend now is spent on the internet? It is likely a large percentage. In fact, the generation coming up today hardly knows that a computer can work without the internet. They have never experienced the days of a computer before there was internet.

In that same generation there is not one of them that has watched the TV in black and white. That experience is being lost with the new generation. This is the same as all technology advances though. As it move forward, experiences that were once common place are no longer available to be had.
