Do You Know What Ajax Is?

By:

Summary: the article is about How Ajax benefits the user and the search engine in many ways. Ajax is the acronym for "asynchronous Java Script and XML". Computer nerds would be able to comprehend what this refers to, for the rest of you out there, its software. What is Ajax all about?

It provides for interactive web application in a particular browser. What it does is allowing the web pages to respond fast by replacing some data with the server. So instead having the entire page being reloaded in the server, only the changes made is loaded up to the server. The advantage of this is that when you and I serve the net, we have a faster response from the search engine. This makes the search engine reliable and speedy.

Before Ajax, when a request from the site was made, a HTTP (hypertext transfer protocol) will be sent to the server. The server would process the information given by gathering data, and also communicating with other systems. When the information is retrieved, then this information is sent back to the user along with the required webpage. When the server is doing its job, the user has to wait.

Then came Ajax. Ajax aims at reducing the waiting time for the user. . Ajax will be doing the interactive part with the server, while the user waits for the information on the website. Once it gets the information, then it is presented to the user. This way the user does not ever see a blank browser.

Now with Ajax, the servers are not over burdened. When servers are not over burdened, more users can use the server.

There will be cost savings by the said company. Satisfied users very often encourage other users to use the "product" because of its unique features. With this, the popularity of the search engine increases and more money can be made by the search engine. This is symbiotic relationship that brings profits to both agents.

Ajax has open standards that are used by other browsers. So in a nutshell, it supports almost all programs. As users, you would have choices to choose from. It can split and combine the webpage in many ways. Ajax can separate the webpage by joining them in different ways. If the client has JavaScript, then it will be combined with XMLHttp, this in turn will permit the server and user to communicate with each other. This is what is known as open system.
