Divorce Tip For Women 5 Easy Steps To Replace Your Pain With Peace And Happiness

Did you know you could change your past? Whatever pain or problem you've had can be eliminated by re-writing your story. Read on for a twist to one of Jack Canfield's visioning techniques.

Unleash your imagination; one of the quickest ways to change your circumstances is to visualize. I recently read a brilliant article by Jack Canfield on visualization. There is a lot of information out there on this topic but since I respect Jack's work so much and it was something I had never heard of, I was excited to give it a go. The process is called Mental Rehearsal. I tried it this morning, implementing some changes to overcome past pain and I found it to be very powerful. And best of all, it worked!

Did you know athletes have been using visualization since the 1960's? It's been discovered that the mind responds to what it sees. Even though you are not physically engaged in an activity, the vision of it is enough to trigger action in your mind.

The best time to try this technique is right before you go to bed or first thing in the morning.

Here's what you do:

1) See yourself sitting in a movie theater. The movie starts and it's a movie of a painful event from your past. See as much detail as you can.

2) Next, stand up, walk to the screen, open a door in the screen and enter into the movie. Only now you are going to re-write the scene. How would you have liked that event to play out? Re-experience the situation the way you would have liked it to be.

3) Experience everything again from inside of yourself, looking out through your eyes. See everything again in brilliant detail and feel the feelings you would feel.

4) Then walk back out of the screen, but see it still showing the new version of your past. Reach out and grab the screen and shrink it down to the size of a cracker. Put it in your mouth, chew it and swallow it. Imagine all these little screens traveling through your bloodstream and entering each cell of your body.

5) Finally imagine every cell lit up with a movie of you living your past exactly as you desire.

Open your eyes after you are finished - should take no more than 5 minutes start to finish. If you do this with every past hurt you'll likely see great improvements in your life. You'll start to believe things happened the way you wanted them to and your self-esteem and confidence will sky rocket.

I look at it this way - if it works for pro athletes why not give it a shot?
