Discover The Upgrades In The Working Holiday Visa

By:

Have you dreamed of seeing the Cliffs of Dover or the wonderful city of London? If you are skilled professionally and between the ages of 18 and 30, you should apply for the Tier 5 Youth Mobility Program. This is the former Working Holiday Visa that has been upgraded and changed to help more applicants from the countries of Japan, Australia, Monaco, Canada, or New Zealand experience a different part of the world.

Accepted applicants can live and work in the UK for up to two years, which is an exciting change to the former Working Holiday Visa. The previous program limited people in the visa program, as it prohibited them from working time at certain times or in certain positions. Now, the only restriction for accepted applicants is they cant be a professional sports person or engage in any type of business.

The other requirement for someone is having the right amount of money in the bank. You need at least 1,600 GBP or the equivalent in your personal bank account and in your name. You must not be responsible for anyone under the age of 18, which means you arent financially supporting them or they cant be living with you. This would complicate many of your travels, especially if you are gone for two years. This is ideal for a recent college graduate or someone single needing a change in profession.

It is also expected that you havent already been to the United Kingdom or previously been a part of the Youth Mobility Scheme. There are a number of legalities with the former Working Holiday Visa, which is why many hire a visa agency to help them through each step. Once everything is completed and accepted, you can pack your bags and book your trip to the UK.
