Since there were not any technological apparatuses at the time to measure continuity of the structural progress the building came to possess an awkward shape once completed. Despite this mishap, Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli is one of the city"s most spectacular architectural wonders and one of its grandest structures in the region to date.
Often described as a structure which displays the epitome of Rajput"s building prowess, the haveli is a harmonious culmination of Islamic and Rajput architectural styles. One of its most notable features is of course the two large yellow stone monuments of elephants that stand at the entrance to the haveli as if the sculptures are posted sentries guarding the household from outsiders.
