The Easiest Way to Get Discount Ink Cartridges is to Use it Completely!

No matter which ink jet printer you possess, the best way to get discount ink cartridges is to use all the ink you already bought. Did you know that about 20% to 40% of your ink goes unused. Now is that anyway to get discount ink cartridges? NO WAY! Thats because when the inkjet printer tells you youre out of ink, youre NOT! In fact you occasionally have as much as 60% left!

MY NUMBER 1 DISCOUNT INK CARTRIDGE TIP:
When I get an Ink Alert that says Im out or in short supply I just keep printing until the ink wont come out any longer.

This routine frequently allows me to print for another month before replacing it.

On average, inkjet printers provide an ink efficiency of just over half when used for photo printing purposes and only one third when used for printing business documents.

Here's a shocker. These printer companies argue theyre doing this for you, because after the ink falls lower than the halfway point, the prints could turn out to be undesirable. Their excuse is that they don't sell discount ink cartridges based on the volume of ink but on how many pages they print.

Printer companies like Epson use a chip that records the quantity of ink used from the cartridge and then alerts you when the ink level reaches a certain point.

Unfortunately this will ultimately stop you from printing until you exchange the cartridge. That's how they stop you from using all the ink like I recommended you do before.

Epson lost a class action suit when it was determined their chips had under reported ink levels during 2000 to 2006. For more than 6 years they were outright ripping off their customers!

The earlier Canon ink tanks use a laser to verify ink levels; and dont have smart chips that thwart printing. So you can print for quite a few more weeks after your out of ink.
