So before you buy one, consider first that the connection between the HDTV and the tuner is cable DVI-D or HDMI. Look also at the output resolution of the tuner you are thinking of buying. There are some tuners which are picky. Think about satellite capability should you consider shifting to satellite services which should get you more channels than you can view in a single day.

There are so many of these HDTV tuners for digital TVs now marketed so it is best to look into the product specifications as well as the product reviews. It would be bad if you chose a really expensive one only to find out that it does not offer the features which you were seeking.
