Digi Marketing - Change The Way You Speak

Digi Marketing - Change The Way You Speak

By:

The past decade has witnessed a growing interest in Social Media and Internet Marketing among different businesses. For any business the finished goods or service comes at last, but the idea gets shape first. Organizations now a days are showing keen interest to build their presence on web before they serve anything. Its not all about the new or growing organizations but for others also who are already running their businesses.
Marketing now a days starts with sending emails and messages via social networking sites, filled with detailed description of what the company is all about, what are the products and services, how better are the products and offerings in comparison with the competitors, how economic is the product etc. In short we can say, that all these marketing messages speak about the owners manual, from the perspective of the business.
My intention of writing the above lines is not to criticize or highlight the internet marketing or its not about the owners who are into this field. But my idea is to be more focused on the way of marketing, the content of the messages and emails.
A common thing noticed in the door to door marketing and selling is until and unless the sales person details the benefits of how the product will help the consumer, selling cannot take place. The same thing I want to lay stress on while in digital marketing also. All emails and messages that speak about what a company/business is all about, the receiver don't even give a damn to take a look at the email, how could you expect theyll visit your website?
What is important here is to give a change to your marketing content. To change the way you talk to your consumer. Here are few points I want to share

1)Explain how your brand is helpful to the consumer, how the consumer will be benefited with your brand rather than convincing them to buy your product as its superior to the rivals or other brands in the market.

2)Engage with your consumers via Social Media. A forum or blog startup on your Facebook, LinkedIn can be a good idea. Keep in mind that the forum or blog do speak the general topics of discussion which is related to your business.

3)When marketing via email and messaging via social networking sites, check the content whether its from your perspective or from a consumers perception.

4)Let others talk about you and what your company is. You can opt for third party bloggers who can write about you.

5)You can also have the option to let the media speak on behalf of you.

These are just the few basic points to change the way we involve in digital marketing. To be more precise put yourself at consumers place & than think about your marketing tactics.
