Different Uses Of Balloons In Our Modern World

By:

It is true that balloons existed many years ago when our forefathers used to fill dried animal bladders with water. These bladders stretched and could actually accommodate so much water due to their elasticity nature. This means that traditional people could use such kind of balloons to store water for future use. These bladder balloons acted as party balloons in those days since people could attend several important occasions which could be decorated using these party balloons. Such traditional occasions include; traditional marriage occasions, burial ceremonies and many more occasions regarded with a lot of respect during those times.
We now have modern balloons. These can be filled with air to become flexible. Gases which are commonly used to inflate these balloons include; helium, nitrous oxide and oxygen. Once inflated, a balloon becomes flexible and can actually float in air. Materials used to make them include; rubber, nylon fabrics and latex. It is true that these materials are the best in making party balloons which are used in several party occasions nowadays. These party balloons are available in many shapes and colours depending on the type of occasion to be celebrated. Occasions which need colourful decorations include; weddings, graduation ceremonies, birthday parties, church contests and many more. Apart from making these occasions colourful, balloons also have other extensive uses nowadays.
Balloons are used for practical purposes. The fields which they can be used include; medicine, meteorology, military defence and transportation. Balloons which are used in these fields are special ones and thus they are different from the party balloons used in different occasions. In the field of medicine, they can be used in some laboratory tests to determine various complications in human health. We also notice that they have extensive use in meteorology. Weather measuring instruments for example thermometers can be fixed on balloons and send to the air to determine weather conditions high in the sky. This is actually very important simply because such places cannot withstand human life so nobody can dare to go there. Party balloons are smaller in size compared to those used in practical purposes.
Special balloons can also be used in military defence or transportation. It is worth to note that a balloon has a unique property which makes it suitable for these practical uses. Balloons have a low density which makes them float in air and thus people take this advantage to use them for practical purposes. Military people use them to fly far in the sky to locate enemies from long distances. They are also used in water transportation since they float in water. Party balloons are also less dense and that is why they float in air. In many occasions, party balloons are always scattered everywhere to make the occasion colourful.
Party balloons are filled up with air using the mouth since they are small. Big balloons require hand pumps for them to be inflated. The volume of balloons can be adjusted since they are made up of elastic materials. Most of the party balloons are made up of latex which is a natural product from rubber trees.
