Different Types Of Stainless Steel Profiles Wires

By:

Stainless steel is considered as the base of every industry since more than 100 years. Stainless steel is one of the most import parts in every construction and engineering unit, and at the same time it is used widely in various other products such as home appliances, computers and peripherals, automobiles, manufacturing, complex machinery, etc. However, these all are the general terms that we all know about.

Today, in this article I am going to highlight few of the other important aspects of stainless steel which a normal person will generally overlook, industrial applications. Meeting the demand of todays modern construction, engineering and industrial works; stainless steel profiles had played a notable role in comprising the requirement of all. It had accomplished the need of an array of applications ranging from construction of multi-storied building to reinforced bridge, as well as various other complex industrial applications and its welding requirements.

Let us look at the stainless steel profile wires, which are considered as the core breed in todays modern stainless steel industry. These wires are available in different sizes, shapes and compositions suitable to meet various welding, electrical, telecommunications, construction and various other industrial processes. These wires are developed on the basis of cutting edge technologies and are divided into an array of stainless steel profiles including redrawing wires, stainless steel reinforcement bars, spring wires, bright bars, TIG wires, MIG wires, SAW wires, cold heading wires and much more. All of these stainless steel profile wires are designed specifically to meet their own special purposes. They all have differing composites, shapes and sizes.

Below are the highlights on some of the major stainless steel profile wire:

(1) Lashing Wires:
Lashing wires are the wires that are used in cable televisions as well as to hold the mechanical and electrical cables together on overhead telephone lines. These wires are also known as cheese coil and are available in two major formats, which includes coil coated lashing wires and without coil coating.

(2) Redrawing Wires:
Redrawing wires are the wires used in redrawing industry. These wires are available in different sizes, shapes and grades.

(3) Reinforcement Bars:
Reinforcement bars are made from highly corrosion resistant element Molybdenum (Mo). They are mainly used during the construction process, especially in the area which contains high level of chlorine (salt water).

(4) Cold Heading Wires:
Cold heading wires are manufactured for cold heading process. These wires utilize copper bearing austenitic steel during the process and are available in various sizes ranging from 1.20 mm to 20.00 mm with surface finish.

(5) Nail Wires:
Nail wires are suitable for manufacturing nails. These wires are soap coated with matte finish.

(6) Spring Wires:
Spring wires are manufactured for the purpose of making springs. It includes springs such as compression spring, torsion spring, extension spring as well as wire form, straight pin and many other products.
