Different Kinds Of Payment Receipt

Retail stores and restaurants use different kinds of payment bills for serving its customers. The type of bill given relies mainly on the mode of payment done by the customer. Restaurants find it easy to tackle hundreds of customers during peak hours by choosing the right type of printer and correct type of payment bill. If you observe the printers used in hotels and restaurants you have several varieties such as dot-matrix printer, inkjet printer and more. Similarly the sales bill also varies as per the type of payment the customer makes with the hotel.

A receipt is nothing but a valid proof of financial transaction made with the store or restaurant. Now with the advent of technology and internet services, it is possible for the outlets to deliver print-outs of bill in much easier ways than before. This article tells you about the different kinds of payment available from the shops and restaurants. You have direct cashier bills, credit bills and email invoices and much more depending on the method of payment the customer choose to make.

Cashier generated bill
This bill is given when cash transaction is made by the customer. A cashier usually fills in particulars in the printed format or in the computer for giving cash bill to the customer. It contains the details of items purchased, and sales tax and other taxes if any applicable for sales. The bill gives information about the amount paid in full by the customer and the product description.

Credit bill
This type of receipt is given by the company or store outlets if the customer pays the bill by credit card such as MasterCard and American Visa card. The bill displays some information about the type of credit card and its number and you will be asked to sign the bill and return it to the clerk. Further you will be given copy of the bill which stands as a proof for having made the payment. Unless you sign the bill the cash may not be passed from your account to the retailers account.

Sometimes if you pay directly online, you will be given printed invoice receipt from the company. They will also send email conformation to you.
