Composite window boxes are made from recycled wood or recycled plastics or saw dust. They are most resistant to rotting. Some of the window boxes cannot be painted and their price range more expensive cause of material use in. Wood based composite window boxes are break over time but generally durable than normal wooden window boxes.

Fiberglass Window Boxes

Fiberglass window boxes solve the many problems that accompany the vinyl window boxes. Fiberglass window boxes will not crack over time and they have more durability. And another benefit is they can be painted. Like vinyl, they are too rotting and moisture free. A fiberglass window box can definitely last a lifetime. There are a few defect to fiberglass window boxes, the first defect is price. These window boxes are most expensive. And other main defect is safe installation. And this is not recommended to use these types of window boxes for big sizes or on second floor window where falling and safety are a concern.
