Diagnose My Skin Rash, Or Look For The Secret Cause?

By:

Can I sometimes diagnose my skin rash myself, or must I seek the guidance and counsel of a medical doctor? Will a medical doctor inform me about the actual cause of eczema, or just the symptoms?

This article is meant to answer the questions many people who experience eczema outbreaks might have. What triggers eczema outbreaks is not the same as what actually causes eczema. This is pretty important to understand. A lot of different things can trigger a skin rash to appear, but if you have a chronic eczema condition there is a reason for that.

If you come into contact with some chemical substance and a rash appears sometimes afterwords it's pretty safe to assume that it was the chemical that caused your skin rash. Especially if the skin rash disappears by itself, and it never happen again.

It's quite another matter if your eczema problem is of a more chronic nature. If that is the case I would recommend a visit to the skin doctor, or dermatologist, to get a proper diagnosis. Just keep in mind that you will not learn the underlying cause of eczema just from getting a diagnose of your skin rash.

The doctors and dermatologists simply do not know. So, I would definitely allow them to diagnose my skin rash, but when it comes to figuring out the root cause, I would do my own research.

Diet and eating habits of the so called modern world and society is in fact our worst enemy. Not only are the food and beverages full of artificial chemicals and substances, but the way the food is combined makes it even worse. Almost every meal consumed by a "normal" family is a nightmare for our digestive system.

It's in this area you need to look if you want to discover the fundamental cause behind your eczema symptoms. It has to do with poor diet and slow digestion. The onset will often be early in childhood, and it will escalate into a vicious spiral as the child grows older.

At some point the imbalance will simply become too much for the body to handle, and you will suffer from eczema outbreaks. If you want to cure your eczema you will need to understand and take care of the underlying cause. Dealing with the symptoms is not enough. This should be your priority after the initial "diagnose my skin rash period" has been dealt with.

To conclude we might say that it's OK to visit a doctor to find out what type of eczema you have, but you should really look into the root cause of eczema if you want to get rid of it forever.
