When you design your own t-shirts online, you have a significantly larger range of possibilities to personally wear than if you were restricted by what a store has to offer you. You can have any of a number of printing techniques used to print your t-shirt, and while screen printing and ink-jet are common, there are other possibilities such as plot printing (also known as 'cat cut') that is best for solid areas of plain colour - you are unable to use any form of mixed or merged colours, and the technique is best used for large areas of text. Machine embroidery is another method sometimes used, although it can cost a fair bit for larger designs and logos - nevertheless it is bright, colourful, hard-wearing and can easily be washed and ironed without spoiling it.

Quite frankly, there are unlimited options, and if can't find what you want online, then you can be sure that if you ask then you can get what you are seeking. If your choice of gift can be printed with any of these techniques, and very few products cannot be printed using at least one, then you have the idea of a wonderfully unique gift printed with any design of your choosing.

If you think that you are good enough of an artists to design your own t-shirt then a polo shirt or t-shirt would be the ideal way to convert that talent into a gift, and you could also have your design printed onto a mug, a coaster set or even a clock to express your artistry in the form of a personal gift.
