The Managing Director of Ducati UK said that the awards reflected the dedication and effort of the whole Ducati team both at their factory in Bologna and within UK team for their passion, pride and commitment in their work. He added that the "Desmosedici RR was recognised as the bike of the year award reflecting its status as an instant classic. It really is a unique and phenomenal motorcycle, the like of which comes along once in every 15-20 years."

However, these were not the only awards Ducati were recognised in. Their 'Monster 696' was highly commended in the 'Best Naked' category whilst in the Sportsbike 600cc plus categories they were among four of the nominated bikes. The Ducati stand at the NEC also included the Airwave Ducati 1098R from the North West 200 winning British Superbike Cup winning team.

This years new range includes a new 1198 Streetfighter and Monster 1100 for those who continue to strive to own probably one of the most outstanding machines available on today's market.
