Do you know a person that just does not seem to understand the meaning of the word no? You might be surprised by the number of people now days that do not know what it means. You might find one that just will not leave you alone after you break up with them. This could be a boyfriend, girlfriend, ex husband or ex wife. There is no age limit with this problem either. Some of them might eventually get the fact fact that you do not want to be with them anymore and then there are some that you will have to send the police on. Some of them will go away peacefully after a while and then you might have someone that will be anything but peaceful.

It is the latter ones that you will have to worry about. In some situations like this you might have to go to the police so that they will be able to help you with this person. They will go talk to this person for you. They will try to make them understand that if they do not stop harassing you, they might end up in jail. They might help you find a place to stay until this problem is solved and then they will take you and your children, if you have them, to work or school if you do not have a car of your own.

These people that go through life not understanding the word no have a lot of problems and many times these problems start in their childhood. Their parents might have let them run a muck and never having told them no they can not do this or that. They might have thrown temper fits when they were told no keeping up this tantrum until they got their way. In other words, this person has never been told no about anything. Many times these types of people do not know what real love is either.

This way you can avoid getting involved with this person in anyway shape or form. If you happen to be one of the unlucky ones that seem to attract these people, you have to learn to be very careful before you get involved closely with anyone. Getting hooked up with someone too quickly before you have time to really get to know is a big mistake. It takes time to learn the true personality of someone. This is why a lot of people end up with someone stalking them and even getting hurt or murdered. If you have broken up with someone and they are continuing to pursue you, even if it has not gotten scary yet, do not wait to let your local law enforcement know that you are having a problem.
