Dave Matthews Band (DMB), had been an American jam band originally from Charlottesville, Virginia since 1991 and have grown into a worldwide music sensation. Dave Matthews, songwriter and guitarist, and his supporting band (which then consisted of drummer Carter Beauford, saxophonist LeRoi Moore, bassist Stefan Lessard, and violinist Boyd Tinsley), released the album "Remember Two Things" in 1993.

The album peaked at number one on the Billboard 200, achieving platinum status. Their three singles have been released, "Funny The Way It Is", "Why I Am", and "You and Me".

The album was nominated for two 2010 Grammy Awards: Best Rock Album and Best Album. DMB played "You and Me" with teenager singers, percussionists, horn players, a string section from the Grammy in the Schools program during the awards telecast.

DMB continue to embrace their unofficial title as the summer music's boys, Keeping its annual tradition alive, Dave Matthews Band has revealed a 49-date concert tours that will continue from late spring through late summer.

This year's tour launches with a May 28-29 concerts at Comcast Theatre in Hartford, CT, and concludes four months later on September 15 concert at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN.

In addition to the opening engagement, Dave Matthews Band summer tour dates include several other multiple-night runs on June 7-8 at Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA; July 3-4 at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Troy, NY; July 16-17 at Citi Field in New York, NY; and September 3-5 at Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, WA.

The most interesting highlight is DMB concerts will be at Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA; Hershey Park Stadium in Hershey, PA; and Nationals Park in Washington, DC.

DMD and his band had sold 11.6 million Dave Matthews tickets and recorded concert sale revenues of approximately 529 million dollars from 2000 to 2009 according to the Publication's numbers.

In spite of the tragic death of LeRoi Moore, Dave Matthews and his band still banded together, adopting Grammy Award winner Jeff Coffin as their replacement saxophonist. DMB's concert tours will continue to promote the June 2009 release "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King." the studio album this year, it will be marking DMB's seventh studio record, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and quickly racked up sales nationally.
