Although he remains a standup comedian at heart, Dane Cook's resume is quickly filling up with acting roles. In addition to starring in his first leading role, as loveable slacker Zack in Employee of the Month, a romantic comedy which grossed over $30 million at the box office, Cook also appeared in Dan in Real Life alongside The Office's Steve Carell, Good Luck Chuck alongside Jessica Alba and the thriller Mr. Brooks, which featured an all-star cast comprised of Kevin Costner, William Hurt and Demi Moore.
Cook, who owns his own production company called SUperFinger Entertainment, signed a multi-faceted contract with HBO in early 2008 and subsequently created, directed and starred in Tourgasm, a nine-part comedy documentary series.
