What is the pet policy?
Was the building built to be condos or was it previously an apartment building
What is going on in the immediate area? What type of development?
What is the renter situation?
Are there any pending basements on the property?
How much are the HOA dues and what is covered in them?

Each question is an important question. Knowing what new developments may be coming up just may save you your view of Downtown Dallas should a thirty story building be built right in front of your balcony.

The renter situation. Are there many renters. Should you decide to rent, will you have an easy time renting it. Are they decreasing the value of the property?

It is also important to find out if the property has any pending assessments on it. Normally, these are paid through the HOA fees, which is also important to know what these fees cover.

And, lastly, what is their pet policy and was the building previously an apartment building. Many condos do not allow pets. Should this create a problem, you may wish to find a building that allows pets. If the building was previously an apartment building it may not be as soundproof and financing may be a problem.
