Nevertheless there was many disputes about Reggaeton because it used explicit language. It was named Underground because it needed to be underground being produced in local garages and spread on the sly. Its scope was the inner city living of the poorer youth of Puerto Rico which also dominates as the themes of Reggaeton today. However in 1995 the Puerto Rican authorities launched raids against music establishments to eradicate this songs. Finally in 2003 one of the political figures running for office used Reggaeton as a concept for his own campaign to draw in the younger voters. Daddy Yankee became and still is among the productive Reggaeton singers along with his El Cartel Records.

Worldwide Recognition

Regardless of the efforts of the Puerto Rican federal government to suppress Reggaeton Daddy Yankee continually lead this market with his song albums and songs. In the year 2004 the album Nina Sky single hit Oye Mi Canto presented by a New York rap artist named N.O.R.E. presented highly regarded Reggaeton musicians Yankee and Tego Calderon. Yankee finally achieved it to American and Europe with his solo Gasolina, in 2004

Background

Daddy Yankee came into this world in 1977. He's also called El Jefe and El Cangri. He came into this world in San Juan, Puerto Rico and named Ramon Luis Ayala Rodriguez. He's a Latin Grammy Award winning Reggaeton singer. As he was growing up he was fascinated and associated with the underground Reggaeton music trend occurring in his own place Puerto Rico. He began to copy the styles of more traditional rap like DJ Goldy and DJ Playero. His 1st presence was together with DJ Playero in a 1992 production Playero 37 yet went on to create his own rhythm and design and has become among the first music artists to be a performed of Reggaeton.

Albums And Songs

His first solo recording launched was No Mercy and then he formed a duo with Nicky Jam. Then he went solo all over again with the launch of records El Cartell and El Cartell II then he became to be recognized as one of the Reggaeton pioneers and was often referred to as Papi Vaguero. In 2002 his album El Cangri.com have become internationally famous and was considered to be his first commercial accomplishment in the world outside of Hispanic music listeners. He has too a small commercial advertising job including engaging in advertising for Reebok and Pepsi.
