Acne that usually develops near the surface of the skin appears as black heads or white heads as result of clogged pores. When the acne goes deeper it develops into a pus filled painful condition that is more difficult to treat. Such acne condition is categorized as cystic acne.

Eat less simple carbs, sugars that raise insulin production which accelerates hormonal changes in your body. Hormonal imbalances have been linked to acnes. Chemicals that are in junk foods also trigger hormonal changes.

Believe it or not, baking soda is effective for acne control in many acne sufferers (not for sensitive skin). In order to clear acne with baking soda, make a simple paste out of baking soda and water, and apply it over the affected skin. After application, leave for 10-15 seconds and rinse properly with cold water.

Give yourself an all natural acne facial. Make a mixture with vinegar and salt. Use only enough vinegar to turn the salt into a paste. Apply this to your face and wait for approximately 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a soft towel.
