Two: Get to know your customers and let them know you - You are building business relationships, but it is important that you take time to learn who your customers are and let them get to know a little about you.

This will make you seem like a real person to them and not just some unknown business person that wants their money. It will also help you build trust with each customer.

Three: Work hard to build relationships - Too many people believe that building relationships is just going to happen on its own, but that is not the case. You have to work at always building relationships with all your customers every single time you interact with them.

Building relationships is going to take time, but it will be well worth the effort you put into it when you have a strong relationship with your customers and know that they will be spending their money with you and not another business owner.

Four: Maintain the relationship - It is imperative that you maintain your relationship with a customer once you have built it.. This will be a continuous process, but it is imperative to keeping that customer happy so they will not take their money to another business..
