Curling Without Much Heat

By:

Straightening and curling have become the call of the day, as the demand for these have reached the zenith. But both these techniques work via the application of heat and this in turn can prove to be hazardous to ones hair and its growth.

Curling is a tedious process where the curling iron and the rollers are used for an impeccably long time. And this can cause damage to the hair and is very unpractical. Because event though the net effect is beautiful and head turner, it is just temporary and it lasts only for a less time. The following text gives a practical approach to this method via simple steps.

The things needed are: hair gel, rubber bands, frizz ease, hair spray.
Firstly, wash and condition the hair and towel dry it, but take care not to over dry it. Then make the hair tangle free via combing.
Now equally distribute a nickel sized amount of frizz ease from the root to the end. Always take care to use the correct amount of the ease in accordance with the thickness and length. By doing this, each strand gets a bit of the serum. Then rub and brush it.
This process depends on ones hair thickness. If the hair is thick, then divide it in to eight equal parts; or if its wavy then it can be divided into ten parts.
Take some amount of gel and apply it evenly to one of the parts. Then braid or plait the parts and tie it up with rubber bands.
After the hair dries, gently take off the braids; but take care not to tease them. This process will give the style a longer effect and keep the frizz at bay. Finish the process with a quick squirt of hair spay for extra hold of mist.

Tips & Warnings

While braiding the hair, confirm that it is moist. Further, before taking the braids loose, make sure your hair is completely dry.
