Curing Bad Breath Caused By Bacteria

The most obvious cure for bad breath is to brush your teeth. You probably know this since the day you saw your first toothbrush. Brushing your teeth three times per day after meals may cure you bad breath. If left in your mouth, bacteria will break down the food and emit those unpleasant smells mentioned before. Brushing is not just for keeping your teeth white, it's also about removing small food particles stuck between your teeth and in your gums.

Another effective cure is using dental floss, which is usually either a thin nylon line or a plastic ribbon. Floss after every meal in order to get rid of those small food particles in places which are hard to reach with a toothbrush. Without food particles, bacteria has nothing to break down and create bad odors.

Keeping your mouth clean is not only about removing food particles, bacteria will not only grow between your teeth. To get rid of bacteria on your tongue, scraping is a good method. Scraping your tongue after brushing your teeth can reduce the presence bacteria significantly. An effective tongue scrape can be bought at a pharmacy.
