Symptoms aside from itching are swollen glands found at the back of the neck; the hair produces foul odor and tiny, egg-shaped white spots is sticking to the hair shaft.

TREATMENT

You will have to remove the lice manually. There's no need to spend so much in treating head lice because they do not live long enough after being removed from the scalp. Ask the pharmacist or the staff in charge if the medicine you are using contains "lindane". It's another safe way to remove these pests. Treatment for lice should be concentrated on the areas of the body infected and not on the surroundings.

Use only one treatment at a time
