Cubs Rumors: What Fans Really Think Of Them?

If you are a Cubs fan, then you will understand how we just cannot get enough of Cubs rumors. Cubs rumors fill our day. It helps us see the future of our team. Sure, we sometimes see ourselves shouting when they managed to do something good and crying every time they do something bad. But we are still fans. We can be positive or negative about it but nothing big will really change.

Some of the common Cubs rumors are always about the players. For example, Ryan Dempster has recently been put on the 5th startes spot. He was put on that spot because of the 40 pitches that he has thrown. But I think it was more than just performance. He was put there because the player has been facing lots of problems with himself lately and he is not giving his coach or his fans a reason to believe that he will ever straighten himself out.

But Cubs rumors are not only limited to the players. The team handlers or the coach can be at fault here as well. I have always been wondering why they do not talk to Dempster when he is performing poorly. It is one thing if he is just making occasional flaws. But the problems are mechanical. So it is really surprising that the team had not managed to straighten this out. Also, I have a question for his pitching coach, Mike Riggins. Is he even trying to sort things out for Dempster? It seems like Mike Quade has even made a remark that the two are hardly together. This is surprising given Dempster's problem. And add to that Mike Quade does not even seem to care. He said that they should figure it out for themselves. So much for being hands on.

And I am sorry to say this but I could not help but cry with Ryan Dempster's play. I could say that his era is one of the worst in history of starters. I think that the problem is really his belief in himself. He admitted that there is something missing and he needs to put himself out more. But then, he is not doing anything to make up for that. He is not improving leaving us fans to face the ugly Cubs rumors.

At the end of the day, the team is what they make themselves to be. The Cubs can really use more morale. However, it seems like it is not only the fans that are depressed by the rumors. It seems like they are affected as well. I think that the team should put their act together. It does not matter if they will be the best or not. All that matters is that they perform well than where they are now.
