Cuban Cigars, Making Cuba Famous

By:

Cuban cigars are the most popular, and the most expensive cigars in the world. It's known as the forbidden fruit because of its distinctive flavor and aroma. They are carefully hand made by highly trained and experienced master cigar rollers known as torcedores. These master cigar rollers are considered as artists in their field and they are one of the main contributors of its production.

Cuban cigars are manufactured in Cuba from high quality tobacco, fillers, and grown tobacco leaves in state owned manufacturing firms. Torcedores with their artistic skills and experiences hand roll the product to give the finishing touch. The flavor of the cigars varies depending on the wrapper. The wrapper determines unique character and flavor. There are three different types of cigars based on their wrappers.

The color of the wrappers helped the buyers determine the flavor of the cigar that they are going to buy. The major part of a cigar is made of fillers. The filler gives the smoker the real fun of smoking. The strength of the filler depends on the presence of oil in the tobacco leaves. More oil in the tobacco leaf would mean stronger filler. Fillers are either long or short. Quality of longer fillers is better because they use long leaves whereas short fillers use chopped leaves, stem and other kind of leaves. This makes them hard to burn evenly and consistently like long fillers.

These Cuban cigars are very popular all over the world but because of the Cubans support to the Soviet Union during the cold war, they are banned in USA. You might have heard of its availability in USA at about $100 per box but they are not original. These cigars are mostly from Taiwan.
95 percent of Cuban cigars in the U.S. are fakes. A real Cuban cigar will cost you at least $500 per box. You can distinguish the real ones through its green and white warranty seal. Authentic cigars should have an exact length. Take note of the caps. It should be finely finished with three to four layers of circular appearance. Make sure that you purchase the genuine cigars using these tips.

If someone offers you Cuban cigars with a very low price, say no for those cigars are fake. Always remember, Cuban cigars are expensive and not readily available in the U.S.
