Crusader Antivirus does not come with an un-installer since it is actually a trojan. Crusader Antivirus can block and disable your programs including your anti-virus, in order to make it that much harder for you to remove it. In order to remove Crusader Antivirus, you need to work around its blocking ability as follows:
1. In Windows, click on Start and select Run. Type 'shell:common appdata' without the quotes. This will open your Common Application Data folder.
2. Locate a folder with a name made up of letter and numbers, example 216dd4. Double-click this folder to open it.
3. Inside the folder from the above step, there should be two folders and some files. Locate the file that starts with IS followed by some numbers, example IS216_231.exe. Right-click on this file and choose delete.
4. Bookmark this page, you may need to refer back to it after computer restart (see next step).
5. After you successfully delete the above file, restart your computer.
6. Once you are able to delete the above file and restart your computer, you should be able to run your own anti-virus program to remove Crusader Antivirus. Update your existing anti-virus program and run a full system scan to
remove Crusader Antivirus.
