Create A Self-sustaining Network Marketing Business

If you have been in network marketing for any amount of time, it has no doubt cost you something. Creating a long-lasting network marketing business will cost you time, energy, and money. If you want to build a large business then you must make sure that you are earning more than you are spending. The problem is that most people don't know what each of their prospects are worth. The bigger problem is most network marketers prospects are worth next to nothing due to the all or nothing relationship that most network marketers create. So, even if you are spending only $1 to acquire a new prospect, but are making nothing in return you are slowly putting yourself out of business.

There are a few givens in the network marketing industry that you can count on. You will spend money to acquire new prospects, and new skills, and you will have 97% of people say no to your opportunity. So, if you are spending money to acquire new prospects, and the only way you make any money back is to register new distributors, you are leaving money on the table from the 97% of people who inevitably will say no to your opportunity.

This is not a sustainable business model. It allows for our network marketing companies to train us all in generic ways, but it does not help us build a sustainable business.

If you want to build a sustainable business you must be able to make money from the 97% of people who will say no to your opportunity. Fortunately this is easier than it might sound. It is what is now commonly know as funded proposal marketing.

To implement a funded proposal marketing system you must do a couple of things. First you must know who your target market is. This is not something that our network marketing companies like to talk about. They will tell you that everyone is your prospect, but it's just not true. We want to target people who are in, or have a friendly association to, network marketing. These are the people that are ready and willing to go to work. Always target those who are most interested in joining your opportunity, and those are other network marketers.

You know that most people will still not join your opportunity. Before you ever ask them to join your opportunity you must do something for them. What you can do is to sell them a fantastic product on how to build there network marketing business. By doing this you will be providing value to your prospects by pointing them in the direction of information that can dramatically improve their business, and proving yourself as a leader who knows what you are talking about. Don't worry about putting together a product to sell yourself. There are some great products out there that others will allow you to sell, and then will send you a commission. This will give you the ability to make a profit from those who even say no to your opportunity.

If you do not have a front end product to sell to your prospects, you are leaving so much money on the table. Even worse, by not having a front end product you may be putting yourself out of business, since the only way you will make money is if someone joins your downline. Find a great front-end product, and sell it to your prospects. It will provide them with very valuable information, and provide you with some up front cash with which to build your business with.
