Paperstone: Attractive Eco Countertops With a Conscience

Paperstone countertops are made from 100 per cent post-consumer recycled paper that is saturated with petroleum free resins containing ingredients like cashew nut shell liquid. The saturated sheets are fused together under heat and pressure, transforming ordinary paper into an extremely strong and durable solid surface material.

Paperstone is VOC free and, unlike granite, contains no radon. Certified food safe by NSF, Paperstone is water resistant, heat resistant to 350 and has a class A fire and smoke rating.

Coloured with natural pigments, the attractive countertops come in nine warm, rich colours to complement any dcor. Paperstone is an ideal surface material for kitchen counters, bathroom vanities, conference tables and restaurant food prep areas.

EcoInhabit has people who can install Paperstone and do any needed fabricating, such as sizing. Paperstone is available in three Standard Panel Sizes 5' X 12', 5' X 10' and 5' X 8' and six Standard Panel Thicknesses 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1" and 1 1/4".
