If Tom Cruise did get cosmetic dentistry such as teeth whitening, he is far from alone. It is not only celebrities who get this type of procedure done, but ordinary people as well. Most dentists today offer teeth whitening as one of their services. This is a procedure that will remove any stains from the teeth and will brighten the smile. Because celebrities are ever conscious of their appearance, especially those like Tom Cruise who is often stalked by photographers, they realize that it is important to have a healthy smile and will undergo cosmetic dentistry as a way to give themselves an attractive smile. While teeth capping was the gold standard years ago for celebrities, the rise of the field of orthodontics has allowed many people to have straight teeth without having to undergo teeth capping. While it is probable that Tom Cruise has had teeth whitening, his smile indicates that he has not had cosmetic dentistry such as teeth capping.
